Engagement and identity
This website describes services and receives enquiries. A binding paid engagement begins only under an accepted written quotation or agreement identifying the contracting legal entity, applicable business details, scope, price and authorised parties. CDX is the website brand; do not infer an ABN or incorporated entity from it.
Scope, inputs and approvals
The client provides authorised and accurate source information, required standards and a nominated technical reviewer. CDX prepares the agreed outputs and reports missing or conflicting inputs. The client retains engineering decisions, operational validation and final technical sign-off unless a separate lawful agreement states otherwise.
Fees, GST and changes
Published hourly rates are starting rates in Australian dollars, exclusive of GST. Actual rates, estimated hours, fixed fees, payment terms and any expenses are confirmed in the quote. Additional scope requires agreement before paid work proceeds. Calculators are illustrative and are not binding offers.
Delivery and dependencies
Milestones depend on complete inputs, review response times and agreed access. We notify the client of material blockers and discuss revised dates. An estimate is not an unconditional delivery guarantee; any agreed priority or deadline is recorded in the engagement.
Intellectual property and confidentiality
Clients retain ownership of their supplied material and must have permission to share it. Ownership and usage rights in deliverables, reusable templates and pre-existing material are set out in the engagement. Confidential files are accessed only for authorised work, subject to agreed offshore and hosting arrangements and any NDA.
Review, acceptance and warranty
Deliverables are submitted for the agreed review. Comments should identify the file, revision and required correction. Silence does not create engineering certification. The 12-month warranty and applicable statutory remedies apply as described on their respective pages.
Website and account use
Use your own sign-in and access only projects you are authorised to view. Do not upload malware, unlawful material, passwords or third-party confidential information without permission. We may restrict misuse while retaining appropriate project records. Customer and administrator privileges are separately controlled.
Limitations and disputes
CDX does not currently provide engineering sign-off, FEA or CFD. Documentation cannot guarantee safety, regulatory acceptance, zero downtime or zero reviewer rework. Any contractual liability limits and governing jurisdiction must be agreed in the engagement and cannot override non-excludable law. Raise concerns through the contact form first so the facts and proposed resolution can be recorded.
