We do the preparation, drafting, organisation and comment closure. Your responsible engineer, OEM or authorised reviewer retains technical approval and sign-off. We aim to minimise avoidable rework through early samples, clear inputs and structured checking.

Why CDX exists
Industrial teams often have the technical knowledge but lack time to turn it into clear, controlled information. A technician may know a machine well while the next operator cannot find the right procedure. A purchasing team may have a long parts list without the context needed to select an item. CDX focuses on that gap: preparing information that connects equipment knowledge with the people who need to use and review it. Our work starts with your actual source information and a defined deliverable. We do not fill gaps with unsupported technical assumptions. We identify missing inputs, prepare representative examples and make the review process visible.
Who we support
We support manufacturers, OEMs, fabrication businesses, equipment suppliers and industrial end users. Typical users of our work include engineering teams, production coordinators, quality personnel, maintenance planners, service teams and purchasing staff. A project may be one drawing, an illustrated catalogue, a manual update or a coordinated handover package. The right output depends on the reader. A workshop drawing, a spare-parts catalogue and a management register each answer different questions. We agree those questions before choosing the format.
How the delivery model works
Australian coordination provides a point of contact for scope, priorities and review. Offshore production partners prepare the agreed CAD and documentation work. Direct commercial arrangements reduce additional intermediary layers while allowing flexible production capacity. The model depends on clear inputs and controlled checking. It does not remove the need for customer review, specialist software, authorised source information or an appropriately qualified sign-off authority. Those dependencies are identified in the brief and quote.
What a typical engagement looks like
We first identify the equipment, source records, required formats, intended users and approval responsibilities. A small representative sample establishes the structure and level of detail. Production then proceeds against the agreed scope, with questions and review comments recorded. Final handover includes the agreed files and revision information. Where the project uses the portal, clients can see updates, exchange messages, review delivery details and follow recorded project charges and payments.
Quality through reviewable work
Quality means more than consistent formatting. Identifiers should reconcile, references should lead somewhere useful and an independent reader should understand what applies to their equipment. We use structured checking, source references and comment closure to reduce avoidable errors. We do not describe these practices as a certified quality management system unless a current, relevant certification has been verified and published.
Confidentiality before publicity
Your intellectual property remains yours. Restricted client projects are not used as public case studies without written permission. Demonstration samples show the type of output we can prepare and must not be read as claims about particular customers or measured outcomes. Our public website chatbot and educational material are separate from client document production. Client documentation is prepared by people using agreed tools; confidential project information must not be entered into the public chatbot.
Clear limits, practical support
CDX prepares documentation and CAD deliverables from approved information. We cannot provide engineering certification or sign off your project under our standard scope. Your responsible engineer, OEM or authorised reviewer retains those decisions. Engineering, FEA and CFD services remain planned capabilities and are not offered as current services. Our objective is a well-organised package that supports review with less avoidable rework, not a guarantee that an authority will approve it without changes.
A long-term approach to useful information
Documents need maintenance as equipment and processes change. We favour reusable structures, clear source ownership and controlled updates so an initial project can remain useful. Our 12-month work warranty supports covered corrections and minor changes to the delivered package, alongside any rights that cannot lawfully be excluded. We describe our capabilities and delivery model openly. We do not claim an unverified trading history, customer count, office network or professional accreditation.
