From scattered inputs to a controlled issue.
01 · Discover and protect
Agree the purpose, confidentiality requirements, responsible contacts and source inventory. Request an NDA before confidential transfers where required. Confirm the offshore access arrangements before assigning sensitive work.
02 · Scope and plan
List deliverables, source revisions, output formats and dependencies. Identify technical decisions that remain with the client. Agree cost, milestones, review windows and acceptance criteria in writing.
03 · Prove the format
Prepare a representative drawing, manual section or parts page. Resolve layout, terminology, numbering and structure before producing the complete set.
04 · Produce and check
The offshore team prepares the agreed work. Australian management coordinates questions and reviews. Use reference checks, BOM reconciliation and document registers appropriate to the scope.
05 · Review and close
The client’s nominated technical authority reviews the draft. Consolidate comments, resolve conflicting instructions and record responses. New requirements are assessed before additional paid work proceeds.
06 · Issue and support
Deliver the approved file set with its revision register. Preserve the issue record and activate the 12-month work warranty. Later changes should identify the affected document and approved source information.
