Decisions based on merit and honest records.
Improper influence
CDX does not authorise bribes, kickbacks or facilitation payments to obtain work, approvals or preferential treatment. This expectation applies to people and partners acting on CDX’s behalf. A local custom does not by itself make an improper payment acceptable.
Gifts and hospitality
Any gift or hospitality should be modest, lawful, transparent and free of an expectation of favourable treatment. Decline or escalate anything that could reasonably compromise a procurement or approval decision. Project-specific customer rules may be stricter.
Conflicts
Disclose relevant personal, financial or business relationships that could affect an engagement decision. Record how the conflict will be managed, including recusal where appropriate. Disclosure is not automatic permission to proceed.
Accurate records
Describe payments, expenses and services truthfully. Do not split or disguise entries to conceal their purpose. Financial corrections should preserve a reviewable record. A website ledger is not a substitute for the organisation’s formal financial controls.
Reporting
Raise concerns through Contact Us or the nominated engagement contact. Share factual information and avoid unsupported allegations. We review concerns proportionately and do not endorse retaliation against good-faith reporting.
International work
Relevant laws and customer requirements may apply across several jurisdictions. Seek appropriate advice where a transaction, public official interaction or third-party arrangement presents uncertainty. This policy is a commitment to conduct, not a claim of independent certification.
