Keep what is needed, explain what remains.
Purpose-based retention
Project, commercial and legal records are retained for the agreed engagement and applicable obligations. The project retention period and any customer-specific restriction should be confirmed in writing. We do not promise immediate deletion of records needed for a dispute, payment history or a legal duty.
Operational records
Project files, messages, finance entries, NDA snapshots and issue records support traceability. Corrections to financial entries use a recorded void and replacement rather than silently rewriting history. Content edits retain saved versions so authorised changes can be reviewed or restored.
Chat records
The CDX chat history uses a 30-day session expiry. Expired messages are not available through the normal history or admin review endpoints and are removed when chat maintenance runs. You may delete the current session sooner using the chat controls. Provider retention is separately governed by the relevant provider terms.
Learning and certificates
Learning progress and issued certificates remain linked to your account so you can retrieve them. Public verification is optional and can be withdrawn through the certificate page. A completion record is not an accredited qualification. Contact us to request correction or deletion, subject to any legitimate need to retain issue evidence.
Requests and verification
Use Contact Us with the subject Data request and identify the account or project. We may need to verify your identity and authority before disclosing or deleting records. Do not send identity documents in the public chatbot. We explain the scope, outcome and any reason some records need to remain.
Backups and legal holds
Deletion from an active system may not immediately remove every backup or service log. Any retained backup should remain subject to access controls and normal expiry. A legal hold or dispute may suspend ordinary disposal for relevant records. Specific contractual destruction or return commitments must be agreed in advance.
