Scope and accountability
Partners must work within the authorised scope and maintain clear responsibility for their people and subcontractors. No provider may represent itself as authorised to sign off engineering work simply because it prepares drawings or documents. Required qualifications and licences must be verified for the actual task.
Confidentiality and security
Use client information only for the agreed purpose, restrict access and follow approved transfer and storage arrangements. Obtain approval before involving another subcontractor or changing a restricted processing location. Report suspected disclosure or loss promptly.
Quality and records
Use authorised source information, record questions and maintain revision traceability. Do not fabricate inspections, signatures, timesheets or evidence. Correct identified errors transparently and cooperate with proportionate review of work relevant to the engagement.
Labour and treatment
Respect applicable employment laws and human rights. Forced labour, child exploitation, harassment and discrimination are unacceptable. Work arrangements should be clear, with lawful remuneration and safe conditions. Concerns must be raised without retaliation against good-faith reporting.
Integrity and conflicts
Disclose conflicts of interest, avoid improper inducements and keep commercial records accurate. Do not offer gifts or payments to improperly influence a customer decision. Comply with applicable trade and sanctions restrictions for the actual transaction.
Review and remedy
CDX may request relevant evidence, clarification or corrective action where a concern arises. Actions should be proportionate to the issue and contractual rights. Serious unresolved breaches may affect future work or require termination under the engagement terms.
