Know what you share and why.
Information collected
We collect the details you enter in enquiries, newsletter registrations and project requests; files and messages you submit; and account identity supplied by the sign-in provider. Project records include ownership, status and timestamps. Do not submit unnecessary personal information or credentials.
Purpose and access
Information supports enquiry assessment, quoting, authorised project delivery, account access and administration. Newsletter consent is separate from project engagement. Administrators can access project and enquiry records; customers can access their own portal projects. We do not sell contact lists.
Hosted services and offshore work
The website uses hosted application, database and file-storage services and ChatGPT sign-in. Project production may involve an offshore team under agreed arrangements. Relevant recipient locations and contractual safeguards must be confirmed before restricted project information is transferred; do not assume all storage or access is within Australia.
AI distinction
Client documentation is prepared by people without generative AI. The website assistant, if an AI provider is configured, is for public service information only and may send the question to that provider. Do not enter confidential, personal or project information into it. It cannot access project files.
Retention and correction
We retain records needed for the engagement, administration and applicable obligations. Request access, correction or deletion through the contact form, identifying the relevant account or project. Identity verification may be needed. Deletion can be limited where retention is legally required or needed for a dispute; we explain the outcome rather than promise immediate erasure from all backups.
Newsletter choices and browser settings
Subscription records hold email, consent wording and registration time. Use the cancellation link provided at registration or contact us to withdraw consent. A minimal cancellation record prevents treating a withdrawn registration as active. Your theme preference is stored in your browser. Learning progress is linked to your signed-in account.
Security and incidents
Project endpoints check sign-in and ownership or administrator permission. File transfers and access must follow the agreed NDA and engagement requirements. No website can guarantee absolute security. Report suspected unauthorised access promptly through contact without attaching further sensitive material.
Questions and complaints
Send privacy requests through Contact Us with the subject Privacy request. The contracting entity and dedicated privacy contact must be identified in your engagement before sensitive work begins. We review and respond to the request, and applicable regulator complaint rights remain available. See OAIC guidance for Australian privacy information.
Chat consent, cookies and history
When you agree to start chat, a random CDX chat-session cookie links your browser to a conversation stored for up to 30 days. CDX administrators can review the messages for quality assurance. When AI is connected, OpenAI receives the message and limited conversation context with public website information. Our hosting and AI providers process the information to provide the service. Do not share personal, sensitive or confidential information in chat. Use Delete chat & withdraw consent to remove the current website history and expire its cookie. Financial records, NDAs and applications
The portal stores company details, project budgets, charges, credits, payments, NDA submissions and career expressions of interest where you use those features. Financial entries are records, not automated bank transactions. NDA copies may be emailed to the signed-in client address and the configured CDX business address when email delivery is connected. Certificate sharing is optional and reveals the name and completion record shown on the certificate.
